JANUARY 28 - Determining Your Why
Explore the depths of your professional purpose at “Determining Your Why,” a unique professional development event tailored for college students. Through insightful discussions and targeted self-reflection exercises, this session will help you uncover the motivations driving your career choices and provide a roadmap for aligning them with your academic and professional aspirations. Join us for an engaging experience that goes beyond the textbooks, empowering you to navigate your college journey with a clear sense of direction and purpose.
FEBRUARY 4 - Cultivating Executive Presence & Dressing For Success
This professional development session is designed to help you feel confident and comfortable, whether you’re dressing for virtual settings or in-person internships. We’ll explore how to choose the right clothes for virtual interviews, networking events, and remote work, as well as the best strategies for dressing professionally for in-person internships. You’ll get practical tips on how to balance style and professionalism while staying true to yourself, all without breaking the bank. By the end, you’ll be ready to make a great impression, both online and in person.
FEBRUARY 11 - Program Q&A
We will be hosting regular Q&A Sessions to check in and see how things are going. These aren’t mandatory, but it’s a good time to get questions answered and make sure you’re on the right track.
FEBRUARY 18 - Succeeding in Your Internship and Early Career Roles
In the upcoming EICOP virtual session, “Succeeding in Your Internship/Position”, you’ll learn how to make the most of your internship experience with key strategies for success. We’ll dive into how to embrace feedback as a gift, helping you grow from constructive criticism and improve your performance. You’ll also explore effective time management techniques and how to handle competing priorities, ensuring you stay organized and meet deadlines. This session will equip you with the tools to excel, build strong relationships, and set yourself up for long-term success in your internship and beyond.

HRST will be inviting you all to their virtual panel featuring our own Kristena Hatcher & EICOP Alum Jon Key. Be on the look out for their invitation.
